Tarpanam er den tiden av året hvor du kan søke dine forfedre for å ordne opp i familiens karma. Dine forfedre vil på denne tiden av året være spesielt søkende overfor deg. De trenger å frigjøre egne karma gjennom deg og den beste måten å gjøre dette på er å komme ned på jordplanet på besøk.
Mange vil merke dette gjennom uro, rastløshet, kvalme, tretthet og så videre.
I hele 15 dager vil vediske prester på vegne av deg arbeide for å skape fred mellom deg og dine forfedre på områder som helse, økonomi, karriere og forhold.

Av disse inntektene vil prestene arbeide for foreldreløse og barn gjennom organisasjonen Tripura Foundation.
