Dilution:

Lavender is one of the few oils that  can  used undiluted on the skin for special irritations such as insect bites and the like. However, it is recommended to dilute the oil for normal use as with most other essential oils. Use about 30 drops or 1 ml of essential oil to 100 ml of base oil. As a rule, you can use up to 3% dilution for use on the body or in the bathroom.

 

Drip about 8 drops on the laundry bag if you wash with  wash nuts , or drip the same amount together with 1/2 dl cold water into the fabric softener chamber. Then you get a lovely scent of lavender on your clothes. Have a few drops in the washbasin when you wash the house, then it smells fantastic in the whole house afterwards. Lavender has antiseptic properties and was used against insects and moths in clothing drawers in the past. The lavender's properties are many, not only does it smell lovely and make you relax but it also promotes a good night's sleep if you drip a few drops on the pillow. Real lavender oil does not stain the fabric. 

 

Massage:

Combine organic lavender oil with your favorite base oil and apply it on the skin to soothe and relieve tense muscles. For example, use organic Jojoba oil as a base oil.

Inhalation:

Lavender oil has an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect on the respiratory tract. Therefore, use it in a nebulizer or by water vapor inhalation, alone or together with, for example, thyme and eucalyptus essential oil.

 

Hand cream for dry skin:

Organic lavender is a great oil to use in skin care. Mix 25 g of organic, unrefined Shea butter with 20 ml of Jojoba or fractionated Coconut Oil with a capsule of natural vitamin E oil and 10 dr of organic Lavender oil.

 

Hair care:

Pour a few drops into your shampoo. It can help increase the hair's shine and health and relieve dry itchy scalp.
