Anhydrous lanolin means that it is completely pure and without additives. The chemical composition of anhydrous lanolin is similar to the structure of lipids (fats) in humans. Therefore, the product is very effective on human skin and helps it retain its moisture without impeding natural sweating or breathing properties. Unlike some animal products, lanolin is not collected in any way that harms the sheep. The fat is only extracted from wool after it has been cut by the sheep. Lanolin is the same as wool fat and is produced in the sebaceous glands of sheep and very similar to us humans. The fat protects the sheep's wool and skin against both dehydration, cold, heat and unwanted bacteria. In addition, it protects against rain; imagine how long at a time the sheep would have to drag on an extremely heavy, wet and dirty wool if it was not "lanolin-impregnated"!
Areas of use:
- Cold cream: Does not contain water and is therefore well suited as protection against the cold red baby cheeks (adults too) and hands. The lanolin also protects against heat and in dry air and has a natural water-repellent effect.
- Dry and irritated skin: Lanolin is known to help with many skin problems, such as skin cracks, dry eczema skin, small sores. Lanolin is known for, among other things, neutralizing urine and protect the skin.
- Hand cream: Perfect hand care after digging in the ground or weeding the flower bed. Or if you are simply bothered by dry skin.

Then dry your feet well and lubricate them well with the Lanolin cream. Put on cotton socks and sleep with them overnight.
Feel free to mix essential oils into the lanolin, or different tenants to increase its use.
What can lanolin be used for?
Lanolin has properties that neutralize the ammonia after diaper use through a simple saponification process, therefore it is very popular among parents of young children. It is also excellent for sore nipples when breastfeeding. Skin disorders such as certain types of eczema, psoriasis, cracked skin or just extra dry skin and skin that is often exposed to water have a good effect of creams with lanolin. It penetrates quickly into the skin and protects even if the skin then feels normal and no longer oily. It also has an antipruritic effect on varicose veins in that the artery walls become more flexible and the circulation is improved. If you have intense itching on your legs that you do not see the cause of, this can actually be varicose veins. After shaving, it protects sensitive skin and by adding a little to the hair helps to collect and soften a frissy hair. Lanolin is particularly beneficial because it continues to absorb moisture from the air, and can thus act as a moisturizer for skin or hair.
Important! The lanolin we use in Divine Shop its products are non-toxic and have pesticide-free certificate.
